WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A PARTNER

"I thank my God every time I remember you.  In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."  Philippians 1:3-6 (NIV)

Five Expectations We Have Of Our Partners:

 1. I am expected to love the other Partners.
"All men will know you are my disciples if you love one another."  John 13:35 (NIV)

2. I am expected to accept the other Partners.
"Accept one another then, just as Christ accepted you."  Romans 15:7 (NIV)

3. I am expected to forgive the other Partners.
"Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another."    Colossians 3:13 (NIV)

4. I am expected to serve the other Partners.
".....serve one another in love."  Galatians 5:13 (NIV)

5. I am expected to encourage the other Partners.
"Therefore encourage one another and build each other up."  1 Thessalonians 5:11 (NIV)
