Group Life is…
“To bring grace and transformation into people’s lives through relationships.”
It is our hope that through meaningful connections to one another and Christ, life change will occur.
Group Life is made up of three different groups: Starter Groups, Small Groups and Home Groups.
- Starter Groups: Short-term groups, meeting four to six times before going on to different groups that might gather to do a study, go to a show, do a craft, anything to help people get to meet and have fun being together.
- Small Groups: These groups could possibly be a spin-off from other groups, would be short-term, topically oriented; possibly a class format or group study, as well as an affinity group.
- Home Groups: Long-term groups focusing on the five purposes, listed below, as a microcosm of church.
The Five Purposes of Groups
- Connecting ... with God's family (Fellowship)
- Growing ... to be like Christ (Discipleship)
- Developing ... your ministry to serve others (Ministry)
- Sharing ... your life mission (Evangelism)
- Surrendering ... your life for God (Worship)
Please contact us if you are interested in participating, hosting or facilitating a group.
