"From the first time I walked into Gateway Bible Church I felt “at home.” I was greeted by many people who were genuinely interested in getting to know me. I have limited knowledge of the Bible but Pastor Jay's messages are incredible and he is able to bring the sermon down to my level. Pastor Jay not only reads the scripture passages but gives some background into what’s going on in the Bible at that time. He truly relates the Bible’s relevance to today’s society in a way that I can understand. He also makes the service fun and interesting by using his personality to get across the message in a friendly, non-threatening way. He has a true passion for what he does and it shows. Since coming to Gateway my relationship with Christ has taken on a whole new meaning. I have become involved in Bible studies and have started to uncover what makes Pastor Jay so passionate about Christ. I am proud to say that my whole family attends Gateway and we have all become involved in several of the ministries. Our entire family has given their lives to Christ through baptism. I received Christ in 2006, my daughter in 2007, and my husband and son received Christ together in 2008. Our relationships with Christ continues to grow because of Gateway Bible Church and all they have to offer."

But, I kept feeling the Lord's tap on my shoulder to try Gateway Bible Church in Gainesville, Virginia. One Sunday I took a step of faith and the minute I walked into the Church, I knew why God wanted me there. Gateway offers many opportunities to serve God. The great weekly messages can be applied to my everyday life and the wonderful music ministry accents the teachings. My relationship with the Lord has deepened and been strengthened through the weekly messages. I've been able to help others develop and
strengthen their relationship with the Lord. The Children's Ministry is great for my kids and it is a blessing to hear them sing songs and talk about what they learned in their classes. What a blessing it is to attend and serve God at Gateway Bible Church."
